Erin K. Morrison

Erin Morrison was born and raised in the Edmonton area. In 2015, Erin completed her Bachelor of Arts with Distinction in Philosophy at Concordia University of Edmonton. While completing her undergraduate degree, Erin competed internationally in badminton. Erin then attended the University of Alberta’s Faculty of Law and graduated with her Juris Doctor degree in 2018. During law school, Erin competed in the Wilson Moot in Toronto, was a Writing Fellow to two sections of first year law students, and ultimately met her husband Dylan in the halls of the law building.
Erin articled at Ogilvie LLP and spent the first few years of her career there, practicing a wide variety of civil litigation. Erin was called to the Alberta Bar in August of 2019.
In 2021, Erin joined her husband, Dylan Morrison, and her brother-in-law, Spencer Morrison, at Morrison LLP. She brings not only her civil litigation experience to the firm, but also has started a complimentary family law practice.
Erin has appeared before all levels of court in Alberta, including the Alberta Court of Justice, the Court of King’s Bench, the Court of Appeal, and various tribunals and administrative bodies in Alberta. Erin has experience in collections matters, judgment enforcement, creditors’ rights matters, personal injury law, employment law, contract litigation, insurance law, wills and estates, residential and commercial real estate, landlord and tenant matters, commercial disputes, shareholder disputes, leasing disputes, land disputes, adverse possession, restraining orders, builder’s lien matters, and a variety of family law matters.
Erin is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, the Edmonton Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association, the Pro Bono Law Association, and the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association. She is a Sessional Instructor with the University of Alberta Faculty of Law, who is coaching the Morrison LLP Family Law Moot.
In her spare time Erin enjoys gardening, cooking, escape rooms, playing an assortment of board games, competing in both badminton and softball, and raising her lovely daughter, Lucy.
