Nicholas R. Fountain

Nick Fountain joined Morrison LLP in 2024 to conduct his articles after graduating from law school at the University of Kent. Prior to law school, Nick obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a Minor in Christian Theology from the University of Alberta. While attending law school, Nick served as House Speaker for the University of Kent’s Student Union Parliament and sat as Chair for the Universities Annual General Meeting.
Prior to post secondary studies Nick played hockey in the SJHL for the Battlefords NorthStar’s and during his studies, Nick played hockey at Red Deer College prior to attending the University of Alberta. Nick has fond memories of helping coach youth hockey teams and being involved with the Big Brothers volunteering program. As part of his extracurricular activities, Nick participated in a youth reading program that catered to elementary schools in Red Deer and the surrounding area.
Nick has plans to grow his practice in family law, wills & estates, corporate law. Nick takes pride in making sure that the client’s experience is seamless, to ensure that their overall involvement in legal transactions is positive.
Outside of the office, Nick enjoys spending time with his friends and family. He was born and raised in Wainwright Alberta, and his days consisted of playing hockey, golf, fastball and lacrosse. In the past couple of years Nick has taken to the challenge of competing in marathon and ultra marathon races.
