Mario Mudri B.S., J.D., was born in Kucura, Serbia. He completes his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan, and he graduated with his degree of Juris Doctor in 2021 from the University of Manitoba. Mario was called to the Alberta Bar in July 2022.
While practicing Law in Medicine Hat, Mario developed a very general practice having practised in the fields of Family Law, Civil Litigation, Real Estate Law, Wills and Estates, as well as minor exposure to Personal Injury Litigation and Minor Criminal Law. Mario is looking forward to transfer and hone his skills in Family Law as well as develop his Real Estate Practice here at with the Morrison LLP team.
Mario is a member of the Alberta Law Society and the Knights of Columbus.
When he is not in the office, Mario enjoys travelling, writing, cooking, and playing dodgeball and other sports with the ESSC. Mario has always been an avid storyteller, and through his passion for stories he allows himself to fully immerse in any medium that allows him to escape into another world of wonder. Whether it is through his previous acting with the Medicine Hat Musical Theatre, watching plays, movies, or even curling up to a good book Mario enjoys the escape of a new adventure whenever possible.
Mario is very proud of his Ruthenian background and continues to speak the language and uphold various traditions rooted in his culture and his faith as a Ukrainian Greek Catholic. He is also able to read Ukrainian and has a conversational understanding of Ukrainian and Serbian.
